Durio
Two poster directions for a ticketed Saturday night at Behind the Green Door. One is loud, with green glass dice on liquid-print fabric. The other strips back to black with a single spiked halftone form in green and violet.

The problem
The Thursday series is free entry. Durio sells tickets, so the poster carries pre-sale and door prices, hours and an address, and still has to look like it belongs to the same venue.
The idea
Keep the venue's frame, meaning the header line, the keyhole and the date stamp in the corners, and push everything else. In the first version the green of the wordmark is lifted from the dice. The second version drops the photograph entirely, so the type and one strange object carry the whole poster.

- Acid green#7DE300
- Mint#71E67B
- Violet#461497
- Fabric amber#C57340
Type
A heavy, wide display face for the event name, the same condensed sans as the Thursday series for hours and dates, and a plain grotesque for the address.
Graphic system
The keyhole, the header line and the day-month-year stamp repeat from the Thursday series, so both nights read as one venue.
